Digital Media.

The statistics  that i learned today about digital media in my quiz was that teens send more texts then i had thought. I usually send up to 50 texts a day, while others is doubled. I don’t understand how they have time? With school going on and extra activities it seems impossible.  For a fact, I use my cell phone the most. I probably use it more because its portable and I always have it with me. Unlike, a TV that i cant carry with me all the time.      Online, I’m happy to say that all my post are appropriate.  I wouldn’t care if a college or family member looked at my Facebook. I don’t have much time to get on it anymore.. But when I do post things it’s pictures of my sports that I play or what i am doing during the holidays. I always think about what my family would think of me if i decided to write something completely horrible. It would make me look bad as a person! The best idea is to keep things plain and simple. A few days ago in class, we began to talk about cyberbulliyng and  online cruelty. Cybullying is the use of the Internet and related technology’s to harm other people, in a deliberate, repeated, and hostile manner. As it has become more common in society, particularly among young people, legislation and awareness campaigns have arisen to combat it. I’m glad to say that I have never experienced bulling on line, I’m constantly hearing about teens and children committing suicide because of the harsh things people are saying about them over the internet.  Cyberbullying can be as simple as continuing to send e-mails or text messages harassing someone who has said they want no further contact with the sender. I would never be able to stoop so low to hurt another person like that, especially when I know nothing about them.
